J&K: Chief Secy takes stock of arrangements for mitigating COVID-19 pandemic

In Jammu and Kashmir, Chief Secretary, B V R Subrahmanyam today took stock of arrangements being made for mitigating COVID-19 pandemic and related SOPs and policies. In view of expected resumption of railways services, arrangements to conduct Rapid Antigen Test on all incoming passengers were reviewed and directions were issued to ramp up the testing capacities at all arrival points in Kathua, Samba, Jammu, Udhampur and Katra.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The Chief Secretary also took stock of manpower requirements at railway stations to ensure testing of all passengers, besides providing assistance with regard to various COVID related SOPs. He said, efforts should be continued to prevent unchecked mixing of infected travelers with local populace and a subsequent spread of the disease.</span><br />
