Chief Secretary, J&amp;K, B V R Subrahmanyam today chaired 1st meeting of Apex Committee of Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), J&amp;K. AIR Corrospondent reports that Commissioner Secretary, Jal Shakti Department gave a detailed presentation outlining the profile of Jal Jeevan Mission, a time bound programme to ensure 'Har Ghar Nal Se Jal' in rural households. In the UT of J&amp;K a total of 10.3 lakh households will be covered at an estimated outlay of Rs. 10,644 Crore in 3 Phases under JJM.<br />''<br />'' During Phase I, 2.3 lakh households will be provided with Functional Household Tap Connection in three districts Viz; Reasi, Srinagar and Ganderbal by March 2021. In Phase II, 3.8 Lakh households will be provided with FHTC in 7 districts Viz; Bandipora, Doda, Kulgam, Poonch, Samba, Udhampur and Pulwama latest by December 2021. In Phase III, 4.1 lakh households will be covered in the remaining 10 districts of Anantnag, Budgam, Baramulla, Jammu, Kathua, Kishtwar, Ramban, Rajouri, Kupwara and Shopian by December, 2022.<br />''<span style="color: #222222;"><br />''The Committee also approved Annual Action Plan of Jal Jeevan Mission amounting to Rs. 680 Crore which has been earmarked as central share for J&amp;K under JJM for financial year 2020-21. The Department was directed to take up speedy implementation of works under the JJM so that the programme is completed much before its scheduled target date.</span><br />
