<span style="color: #222222;">In Jammu and Kashmir, the beating retreat ceremony of BSF held every weekend at Suchetgarh Border Outpost on the International Border (IB) in R.S. Pura sector has been suspended till further orders owing to a surge in coronavirus cases. According to an order issued by Jammu Divisional Administration in view of the surge in Covid positive cases and latest Covid related guidelines, the beating retreat ceremony shall not be held from today onwards, till further orders. However, after reviewing the Covid situation after two weeks, a decision regarding the resumption of the ceremony would be taken accordingly. The ceremony was launched in October last year as part of the border tourism promotion programme.</span><br />
