Jammu and Kashmir BJP core group meeting is underway in New Delhi.

The meeting being chaired party president Amit Shah is discussing possibilities of forming government in the state with People's Democratic Party (PDP).

It is being attended by party general secretary Ram Madhav, Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh, party's Jammu and Kashmir president Jugal Kishore and state organisation secretary Ashok Kaul.

Earlier, the state leaders met Mr Madhav to discuss the current political situation in the state.
