J&K: Bikers group 'Pathfinders' in Leh supporting livelihood, Children Education

<span style="color: black;">In Leh, under the Roshni Project the Deputy Commissioner of Leh Mr. Sachin Kumar Vaishya has received rural livelihood help from Pathfinders Adventure for Social Outreach, here today.<br />'' <br />''Pathfinders, an adventure bikers group of individuals, is supporting livelihood, Children Education with the help of Indian Oil Limited, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL), Power Grid and Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI).<br />'' <br />''Mr Kumar appreciated the group for their positive response to an appeal to pitch in to the efforts taken up by the District Administration in Changthang, especially for the Pashmina Growers.<br />'' <br />''Speaking on the occasion, the Pathfinders CEO Mr. Sanjay Dutta said that the group is doing social outreach programmes in the field of education, Swachha Bharat Abhiyan and livelihood for the last eleven years. In coordination of LAHDCs in Leh and Kargil, the group has distributed computers, solar lanterns and generator sets for the facility of the students. He said, due to COVID pandemic the Pashmina offtake was not as on the expected lines and District Administration has appealed the group to provide some weaving machines, handlooms and sewing machines in villages of Changthang region. Similarly, the group is also providing books and study material for the students and masks to all villagers in the region. <br />''<br />''Pathfinders Vice President Harshvardhan Sharma and Leh ADC Sonam Chosjor were also present on the occasion.</span><br />
