J&K assembly expects stormy budget session

The Budget Session of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly begins today in the Winter Capital Jammu with the address of State Governor NN Vohra to a joint sitting of both Houses. State Finance Minister Abdul Rahim Rather will present the budget on the 7th of March. The Budget session of the J&K Legislator which will conclude on April 9 will have 25 sittings and is expected to be stormy as opposition parties PDP, BJP, J&K National Panthers Party have decided to take on the government vigorously. Kashmir centric issues would form plan of the PDP to grill the Government especially the National Conference.. The BJP has decided to take on the Government on the issue of stopping its ‘Tiranga Yatra’ by not allowing party to hoist tricolor at Lal Chowk and deporting its two senior leaders-Arun Jaitley and Sushma Swaraj from Jammu Airport to Punjab on January 24. J&K National Panthers Party has decided to raise the issues like security situation , corruption, unemployment, delimitation, promotion of tourism in Jammu etc. On the other hand ruling National Conference and Congress have also finalised their strategies to meet the challenge of Opposition parties.
