J&K: Around 4202 candidates benefitted from online counselling of Employment Dept

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the Online Counselling of Employment Department has benefitted around 4202 candidates. AIR Jammu Correspondent reports that around 436 e-counselling sessions were conducted across the UT in which 4202 candidates have been benefitted.<br />'' <br />''The online counseling was started by the department to help students and unemployed youth to choose suitable career amid the challenges thrown up by COVID-19 pandemic. The department has started the service named "e-counselling- an electronic initiative to reach the students and unemployed youth of the UT" through different platforms.<br />'' <br />'' Highly qualified Career Counselling Officers and Employment Officers imparted e-counselling about various career aspects and importance and relevance of choosing the right career at the right time. The sessions include detailed information of different career options after 10th, 12th and graduation, the competitive examinations to get jobs in different sectors and stress management especially during the Pandemic.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Psychometric testing of interested candidates is also being done in order to help them select their right career path based on their interests, mental expertise and personality traits reflected in the test. Besides, the department also facilitates candidates to get them registered in National Career Service portal.</span><br />
