In Jammu and Kashmir, security forces's operation to eliminate the militants hold-up in Pindikathar area of R S Pura Sector is in progress. Ten people were killed in the encounter yesterday between security forces and terrorists.

They include three army personnel, four civilians and three terrorists. Four security personnel are injured and being treated in hospitals. AIR correspondent reports that at least one militant is said to be hold-up in a bunkar.
