In Jammu & Kashmir, Army today ordered probe into the disappearance case of three middle aged civilians of north Kashmir's Kupwara district. General Officer Commanding of Srinagar based 15 Corps Lt General Satish Dua said this while talking to reporters on the sidelines of an event today. He said Army is committed to zero tolerance on human rights violations adding in case Army's role is established tangible action will follow.<br/><br/>Three civilians namely Ghulam Jeelani Khatana (42), Mir Hussain Khatana (45), residents of Gojar Patti (Satbonya) in Dardpora-and Ali Muhammad Sheikh (40) of Dolipora Trehgam are missing since they were taken away by a Territorial Army man identified as Manzoor Ahmad Khowaja of 160 Battalion Territorial Army. Their whereabouts are not known since Nov 17 when they were reportedly taken along by the accused soldier.<br/><br/>On November 28, the families of the missing persons filed a report in police stations Kralpora and Trehgam. Subsequently police registered a case in police station Kralpora against Manzoor Ahmad under section 364. The accused soldier was later arrested and produced in Kupwara court where he was given in police remand. Court later extended his police remand till 19th of this month.
