In Jammu and Kashmir the operation launched by army in Beri Rakh forest of Mendhar in Poonch district to track down the holed up militants is still continuing with army having cordoned off the entire forest area to ensure that militants do not manage to escape from the area. More troops have been sent to the encounter site Beri Rakh.
