In Jammu and Kashmir, an Army officer and two jawans were martyred while another jawan and a girl were injured as Pakistan forces resorted to heavy mortar shelling along the Line of Control in Poonch and Rajouri districts on Sunday.<br/><br/>Defence sources told AIR Jammu that Pakistani forces started unprovoked firing and shelling targetting some Indian positions and civilian areas in Shahpur sector Sunday forenoon. <br/><br/>Later the shelling by Pakistan Army was also extended to Manjakote and Naushera sectors of adjoining Rajouri district.<br/><br/>Three Army men including an officer were seriously injured in Pakistani firing in Manjakote sector of Rajouri district Sunday evening who later succumbed to injuries. <br/><br/>Army troops guarding the borderline retaliated the firing effectively and intermittently exchange of fire was continuing when last reports came in.
