<span style="color: #222222;">In Jammu and Kashmir, Army foiled an infiltration attempt at the Line of Control (LoC) in Laam area of Nowshera sector in the Rajouri District of Jammu Division late last night. Public Relations Officer of Ministry of Defence today said that an infiltration bid was foiled by the Army when some militants tried to sneak into this side at Pukharni village of Laam area in Nowshera under the cover of darkness from across the border last night.<br />''<br />''One of the terrorists stepped over a landmine causing an explosion around 10 P. M. and it was not immediately known whether any terrorist was injured or killed in the explosion. The alert Army troops who were observing the movement of the terrorists laid a cordon and started a search of the area in this morning. The Defence Spokesman also said that in reconnaissance of the site of the attempted infiltration at the Line of Control (LoC) by Quadcopter, two bodies of infiltrators have been observed. The reconnaissance of the general area of the attempted infiltration site is in progress. The area is being scanned further.<br />''<br />''The latest infiltration bid in the Nowshera sector comes close on the heels of the arrest of a highly trained Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) guide by the Army on Sunday, who also worked for an Intelligence Unit of the Pakistani Army, in an injured condition.
