In Jammu & Kashmir, Army yesterday busted a militant hideout and recovered a cache of arms, ammunitions and war like stores, in north Kashmir's Handwara in Kupwara district. <br/><br/>Defence spokesman told AIR that a joint operation by Army and J&K Police was launched on a tip off in the forest area near village Bowan Watsar of Handwara. He said after a concerted search of the area was undertaken, a militant hideout was busted and large cache of war like stores was recovered. <br/><br/>The recoveries included two Sniper Rifles, one Uni Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL), one Pistol and large quantity of assorted grenades and ammunition.
