In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the two day annual Horse Race festival commenced in the high altitude meadows at Lal Draman in Doda district today. The Lal Draman festival, being organized by the District Administration Doda in collaboration with Army, will witness series of variety cultural shows and other festivities to attract maximum visitors.<br />'' <br />'' The annual Horse Race festival is organized every year and is attended by a large number of people, especially members of migratory nomads who come to these pastures in summer months. During the two day festival, horse riders from different areas of the Union Territory participate in horse racing. Besides, medical camp and musical programs are also organized during the two day long festival.<br />'' <br />'' The festival was inaugurated by Commanding Officer, 10 Rashtriya Rifles in presence of senior civil and military officers. Dozens of horse riders participated in the competition. The festival will continue till tomorrow evening in which winning horse riders will be rewarded.<br />
