In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, District Administration, Anantnag has improved civic amenities and ensured development in several areas in the last two years. This was stated by District Magistrate, Dr Piyush Singla, in an exclusive interview with AIR News. He said road connectivity has been enhanced in far-flung remote areas, especially in places inhabited by the tribal community. Besides, the administration ensured record macadamization of all roads across the district during the period. He said health infrastructure and medical facilities have been augmented in villages and towns. The District Magistrate said that he monitors the helpline himself and gets reports thrice a day about the number of calls and grievances redressed.<br />
