The members of the all party parliamentary delegation who visited Jammu and Kashmir held extensive discussions with the Home Minister P Chidambaram on the way forward for the political initiative in the state. The CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury who participated in the discussion yesterday said after the meeting, some confidence building measures should be taken at the earliest to address the present crisis. BJP sources said that the party leaders pleaded to be accommodative of the aspirations of all sections of people in the state. They have also suggested that a distinction should be made between the protesters and the separatists. The all party delegation which visited the state early this week to know the ground situation interacted with different stakeholders.
