<span style="color: #222222;">In Jammu and Kashmir,the Meteorological Centre (Srinagar) today issued an advisory in the wake of a forecast of moderate to heavy snow and rainfall from tonight to January 09 in twin Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh.<br />''<br />''As per the advisory, under the influence of two western disturbances, upper reaches of Kashmir division, Pir Panjal Range of Jammu division and Drass area of Ladakh UT may receive heavy snowfall during this spell.<br />''<br />''The plains of Kashmir valley are likely to receive moderate snowfall while widespread rains may occur in Jammu division. Both air and land traffic may also witness disruption during this period.  <br />''<br />''Director MeT Centre Srinagar, Sonam Lotus, said the western disturbances will be strongest between January 5 to January 8 after which weather is expected to improve.</span><br />
