In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Adviser to Lieutenant Governor Baseer Ahmad Khan yesterday inaugurated two day folk and light music concert  'JASHN-e-HARUD'  at Srinagar.<br />''<br />''The musical concert is being organised by Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages Kashmir. Secretary of Tourism and Culture Sarmad Hafeez besides other dignitaries were also present on the occasion. The concert witnessed performance from the renowned artists of Kashmir enthralling the audience. <br />''<br />''AIR correspondent reports, the two-day musical concert being organized at Tagore Hall in Srinagar has been scheduled by J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages Kashmir to provide platform to the artists after long gap due to the unprecedented COVID-19 situation. On the first day of the programme yesterday, artists Waheed Jeelani, Muneer Ahmad Mir, Shaziya Bashir and Firdous Ahmad exhibited their skills. <br />''<br />''The Adviser Khan, who was the Chief Guest on the occasion hailed the efforts of the Academy in promoting Art, Culture and Languages in the entire J&K. <br />''<br />''He said that the Administration will provide all possible help and assistance to carry forward this legacy. He also stressed upon them that all SOPs should be followed during the activities of the concert to prevent the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
