<span style="color: #222222;">Jammu and Kashmir government has nominated six liaison officers in various states for students studying outside the Union Territory to redress their grievances or to ease out their difficulties. The step has been taken to ensure safety and welfare of the J&K students pursuing higher education outside the UT. Our correspondent reports that the students have been advised to use the social media cautiously and contact the liaison officers for any assistance.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports that the liaison Officers have been nominated in NCR, Bhopal, Jaipur, Meerut, Dehradun, Chandigarh, Aligarh, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad. The liaison officers are in constant touch with the local administration/college administration and the state governments to reach out to the students of J&K studying outside the Union Territory. The students have been advised not to pay heed to rumours and contact these liaison officers for assistance and refrain from any such activity which can disturb peace and harmony.</span>
