The 5th Phase of the much publicized Back to Village (B2V) Programme in Jammu and Kashmir will be conducted in the last week of October. All the Administrative Secretaries have been told to undertake a district outreach programme next week for taking stock of progress of developmental works and undertake all the preparatory steps and plan the activities for the successful conduct of the programme. They will furnish reports on a weekly basis highlighting the steps taken for the redressal of grievances brought to their notice by the public during the outreach programme for the appraisal of the Lieutenant Governor's Secretariat.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The B2V Programme is aimed at involving the people and Government officials in a joint effort to deliver the mission of equitable development in the rural areas. During the programme, the Government servants visit each Panchayat of the Union Territory, stay there for a specific period to interact and obtain feedback from the grass-roots so as to tailor Government efforts in improving delivery of village specific services.
