<span style="color: #222222;">Five thousand persons from across the country converged to mark the 9th International Day of Yoga at a high-altitude meadow in Jaie Ghati of Bhaderwah in the Doda district of J&K Union Territory.<br />''<br />''Hundreds of people from different walks of life joined hands with the tribal nomadic Gujjar population to perform asanas. These include a large number of tourists both domestic and some foreigners who converged at Jaie Ghati located at a height of 7850 feet above sea level to celebrate Yoga Day. The congregation, which was the largest in the Chenab region that too in a high altitude meadow, was organized by District Administration Doda in collaboration with AYUSH and the Department of Excise and Taxation.  DC Doda Vishesh Pal Mahajan, who along with SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom inaugurated the mega event. </span>
