In Jammu and Kashmir, four persons were injured as Pakistani forces again resorted to firing and shelling along the Line of Control in Poonch district yesterday. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that Defence spokesperson Col. MM Joshi told AIR Jammu that the forces from across the Line of Control started unprovoked firing and shelling targeting Indian positions and civilian areas in Balakote sector of Poonch around 8 pm. <br/><br/>The troops guarding the borderline retaliated and gave a befitting reply to the Pakistani shelling and the inttermittent exchange of fire continued for two hours.<br/><br/>There has been unprecedented increase in shelling incidents from across the LoC these days and Pakistan Army is targetting civilian population almost every day. The injured have been hospitalized and the condition of the teenager girl is said to be critical."
