<span style="color: #222222;">In Jammu and Kashmir, three terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Shopian district. Defence Spokesman in Srinagar Colonel Rajesh Kalia said that security forces and Police launched a cordon-and-search operation in the Melahora village of South Kashmir's Shopian district yesterday after receiving a specific input about the presence of some terrorists in the village.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The search operation turned into an encounter after the terrorists fired upon the security forces, who retaliated. In the ensuing gunfight, three terrorists were killed so far. Joint operation is still underway. Two civilians including a woman sustained bullet injuries who have been shifted to the hospital for the treatment. </span>
