In Jammu and Kashmir, three soldiers and a terrorist were killed in an encounter in Hajin area of Bandipora district today. Quoting police, news agency PTI reports that six security personnel and a civilian were also injured in the gunbattle that began in the wee hours. It said, nine personnel were injured in the exchange of fire, and later three succumbed to injuries.<br/><br/>The encounter took place at Parray Mohalla in Hajin area when security forces launched a cordon and search operation following specific intelligence inputs about the presence of terrorists. While the forces were conducting the search operation, the hiding terrorists opened fire, triggering an encounter.
