In the Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory, as many as 295 poor people living in the urban areas have constructed their pucca houses with the financial assistance received under the Prime Minister's Awas Yojna (Urban) during the last financial year. Since the inception of this scheme, out of the total of 636 approved cases, 300 poor people have constructed their houses.
