In Jammu & Kashmir, two Hizb ul Mujahideen militants and one Over Ground Worker (OGW) were arrested by the state police from south Kashmir. <br/><br/>This was stated by Inspector General Police Kashmir Munir Ahmad Khan while addressing media in Srinagar today. <br/><br/>He said the trio were arrested from Kund belt in Qazigund area and Kulgam district during last few days. Arms and ammunition was also recovered from their possession. <br/><br/>Mr Khan said, one of the three arrested persons helped militants attack the police vehicle in Damhal Hanjipora in Kulgam district in which one cop was killed on Saturday. The apprehended militants and the OGW were paraded before the media during the presser. <br/><br/>He added that the militants were involved in the two bank robberies that took place in Bijbehara and Shopian in south Kashmir last week. <br/><br/>The IGP, flanked by IG CRPF and commander of Army's 2nd sector based in Kashmir, reiterated their call for local militants to surrender.
