In Jammu and Kashmir, 11 people died and 38 others injured in a bus accident in Kargil last evening. The tragedy occurred at at 5.30 pm at Penzilla on Kargil Zanskar Road.The bus was carrying 49 passengers. The injured have been admitted to Sub District hospital Zanskar and District Hospital Kargil.The Executive Councilor LAHDC Kargil Engineer Punchok Tashi said arrangements have been made for airlifting two seriously injured person to Leh for treatment. He also conveyed his condolence to the grieved family. At an emergency meeting, Distt Congress Committee ,Kargil expressed his grief and sorrow over this tragic accident and appealed the district Administration to compensate the families of those, who lost their lives in this accident.
