Six Indian shooters, including Jitu Rai, Apurvi Chandela and Mehuli Ghosh, will be in fray on the first competition day of the season's first ISSF World Cup at Guadalajara in Mexico today. Two finals are lined up on the opening day of the Combined World Cup where the Rifle, Pistol and Shotgun shooters will compete.
The Men's 10 metre Air Pistol will see Jitu, Om Prakash Mitherwal and Shazar Rizvi carry the Indian hopes in the qualification stages, while Apurvi, Mehuli and Anjum Moudgil will fight it out in Women's 10 metre Air Rifle, the second medal event of the day.
