Minister of State for Home Affairs, Mr. Jitendra Singh will chair the meeting of the Committee of Eminent Freedom Fighters in Dehradun tomorrow. According to an official release, it will discuss various issues relating to welfare of freedom fighters including merger of part of Dearness Relief with Basic Samman Pension and facilities to travel in Duranto and Garib Rath Trains.

The simplification of procedure for transfer of dependent family pension after the death of Samman Pensioner and eligibility of additional dependents for family pension are likely to be taken up in the meeting. It will be attended by the eminent freedom fighters of the country.
