Jitendra Singh slams Opposition for logjam in Parliament on demonetisation issue

Union Minister of State for Prime Minister Office, Dr. Jitendra Singh today criticised opposition for creating continuous impasse in Parliament on demonetization issue and said the more they will disrupt, the more they will lose their credibility among the people. <br/><br/>Speaking to media outside Parliament, Dr. Singh said the government has time and again reiterated that it is ready for discussion on the issue and there is no logic in their disruption. <br/><br/>Supporting Prime Minister's view that those criticizing the move don't have problem with preparedness, however, they have a problem because they didn't have time to prepare, the Minister said high degree of secrecy is always needed for decisions like this. <br/><br/>He said otherwise the very purpose of it would have been defeated. Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi alleged that Congress and other opposition parties lack logic and facts. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar said that the opposition was running away from debate.
