The Delhi High Court today commuted the death penalty awarded to two convicts in the 2009 IT executive Jigisha Ghosh murder case to life imprisonment. The court, however, upheld the life imprisonment to the third convict by a trial court in the case.<br/>Two convicts Ravi Kapoor and Amit Shukla were given death penalty by a trial court in 2016, while the third offender Baljeet Malik was given reprieve from the gallows for his good conduct in jail and awarded life imprisonment.<br/>The police had claimed robbery was the motive behind the killing.
