The Jharkhand High Court has stopped the employees of a Central government mental hospital of Ranchi from going on strike. Taking a suo-moto cognigence of the proposed strike of the employees of Central Institute of Psychiarty from tomorrow, a two Judges division bench of Chief Justice Prakash Chandra Tatia and Justice Jaya Rai said that such strike cannot be allowed. The Court also directed the matter to be converted into a PIL and issued notices to the Central and State governments and the Director of the Mental Hospital. The next date of hearing is on 24 July.
