In order to provide supports to the children of naxal violence, Jharkhand government will open nine residential schools in naxal affected areas, out of which five schools will be for girls and four for boys. Central government has sanctioned 25 crores rupees assistance for this with the direction that the schools should start functioning this year itself. Each school will cost 75 lakhs rupees for which the money has already been sent to the affected nine districts of Lohardaga, Chatra, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Latehar, Gardwa, Bokaro, Palamu and Hazaribagh.
