Jharkhand government will issue identity cards to those migrating to places like Delhi, Mumbai, Gujrat, Punjab and Haryana.The ID card will have all relevant information like the address of the migrating worker and the agency which takes them out. There would be emergency phone numbers of the Deputy Commissioner of the relevant district for emergency purpose.The decision has been taken by the State Labour Employment and Training Department. AIR correspondent reports that the scheme comes into effect from the coming year.The decision has been taken to check human trafficking.
