<span style="color: #222222;">In Jharkhand, the State Government has taken stern action and issued new set of guidelines of closure of public places including gyms, parks, school, colleges and educational institutions till the end of this month to keep a check on the spread of Corona Virus in the state from April 8 onwards.<br />'' <br />'' The State Health Department has also been instructed to prepare five thousand beds, as there remains significant shortage in the number of beds for COVID-19 patients. The department has directed to conduct at least thirty-five thousand COVID-19 tests every day. AIR Correspondent reports that Chief Minister Hemant Soren has appealed people of the state to follow necessary COVID guidelines and wear masks at public places without fail.<br />'' <br />'' With 1264 new active COVID19 cases detected in Jharkhand yesterday, the number of COVID-19 cases continue to take its toll. To keep a check on the spread of the virus, Jharkhand government has issued fresh set of guidelines of closure of schools, colleges, educational institutions, coaching institutes, gyms and parks effective from April 8 to 30, in the wake of several positive cases detected from various schools of the state.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, students appearing for 10th and 12th board examinations this year, have been exempted from these restrictions. They have been allowed to attend offline classes after parents consent. Public places, shops, malls and markets have been ordered to remain open only till 8 in the evening and closure of all shops on Sunday. Restaurants, banquet and marriage halls are allowed to operate with only 50 percent seating capacity. Any procession, picket, demonstration, fair and exhibition has been completely banned.<br />'' <br />'' </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Masks have been made mandatory for all locations and penalty imposed for non-usage of masks. Banquet halls has been allowed to be used only for weddings. More than two hundred people will not be able to attend the wedding ceremony, while only 50 people can attend last rites. </span>
