In order to accelerate the slow progress of MGNREGA in Jharkhand, the Rural Development Department has initiated a special campaign named "Grameeno Ki Aas, MGNREGA se Vikas". This special campaign, which will run from today till December 15, aims to increase the employment of ST-SC and women by 10 percent under MGNREGA scheme in the identified 150 blocks and 2518 Gram panchayats of the state.<br />''<br />''In Jharkhand, Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam today launched a special campaign for development from the villagers, with MGNREGA. On this occasion, a workshop was also organized for the better implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Apart from this, a target was given to generate at least 5000 man-days in every Gram panchayat.
