Jharkhand rehabilitation policy not sufficient to provide relief to BPL persons: Yashwant

Senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Yashwant Sinha said that the recently announced rehabilitation policy by the BJP led coalition government of Jharkhand is not sufficient as merely providing relief to the BPL persons affected by the anti-encroachment drive is not enough. Rather a study should be conducted so as to ascertain the exact number of the people already affected and those likely to affected by the ongoing anti-encroachment drive, and relief should be provided to them all. Mr. Sinha said that he will speak to the state government soon on this issue. On the other hand, the indefinite dharna at Morahabadi ground in Ranchi, by the JVM Chief Babulal Marandi, demanding halting of anti-encroachment drive and providing relief to the affected people, has entered the second day today.
