The first edition of the Twenty20 Jharkhand Premier League (JPL) got off to a flying start in Ranchi yesterday. Chief Minister Arjun Munda inaugurated the tournament and the inaugural match was played between Jamshedpur Jaanbaaz and Dhanbad Diamonds. Jamshedpur won by 35 runs. Five teams are participating in the inaugural season of the tournament and two matches – day and night, would be played everyday.
