Jharkhand polls: Campaigning ends on Sunday for 3rd phase

In Jharkhand, campaigning for the third phase of elections will come to an end at 3.00 PM on Sunday. Polling in this phase will be held in 11 constituencies of the remaining 41 constituencies on December 8. Polling for 40 constituencies in the 81-member Jharkhand Assemly has already taken place during the two phase of the elections in the State. While addressing election meetings, leaders of the political parties are trying their best to woo voters. Congress leader Subodh Kant Sahay and Veerbhadra Singh, BJP President Rajnath Singh and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, LJP leader Ramvilas Paswan, JMM chief Shibu Soren and Jharkhand Vikas Morcha leader, Babulal Marandi are addressing a series of election meetings throughout the State. AIR Correspondent reports from Lohardagga that leaders are raising local issues to garner support of voters.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, repolling is on at four booths of Gandeya and Dumri Assembly Also, the Congress party has expelled seven rebels following anti-party activities.
