Jharkhand Police has seized 13 mobile phones, 17 phone chargers, a knife and other banned materials from Garhwa district jail during surprise raids. Police said, senior officials conducted the raids on Tuesday following a tip-off about mobile phones and sharp weapons inside the jail. Out of 800 prisoners lodged in Garhwa jail, more than half of them are Maoists.
