Jharkhand: police arrests 6 alleged Maoist & recovers landmines in search operation

In Jharkhand, six suspected Maoists have been arrested and landmines and cane bombs were recovered in search operations against the Maoists in the western Singhbhum district of Jharkhand for last ten days. Several important documents have also been recovered from the maoists. Police sources told AIr that the operation by Police and CRPF is continuing in Saranda forests under Chotanagra, Manoharpur, Keepiburu and Jaraikela police stations. Our Ranchi correspondent reports, the police operation is undertaken to keep the Maoists on the defensive.
