Jharkhand police and CRPF not to allow any new strongholds of the Naxals

Jharkhand police along with CRPF would not allow any new strongholds of the Naxals or Maoist in the state, as the Maoists are now searching for new areas after losing grips over many areas in the state as consequence of increased police assaults on them. Speaking to the reporters in Bokaro after a high level police and security forces meet, CRPF IG Alok Raj, IG, CRPF said that CRPF and state police have been working jointly in the Naxal infested areas like Saranda, Jhumra, Parasnath, Chatra and Latehar and this has put the Naxals on the back foot. So the Naxals are trying to move to Dumka and Santhalpargana, and the security forces are determined not to allow the Naxals to establish their foothold in the new regions.
