Jharkhand: PM Modi to launch PVTG Development Mission worth Rs 24,000 cr for tribals on 15th November

<span style="color: #222222;">Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today reach Ranchi for his two-day visit to Jharkhand. Prime Minister will launch Pradhan Mantri Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG) Development Mission, a 24 thousand crore rupees scheme, on 15th November, on the occasion of third Janjaatiya Gaurav Diwas from Khunti district in Jharkhand. The mission will benefit 75 PVTGs in 18 states & UTs, living in 22,544 villages in 220 districts having a population of around 28 lakhs. He will also launch 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra' to ensure saturation of flagship govt schemes; release the 15th installment of about 18000 crore rupees under PM-KISAN and dedicate to the nation and lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth around 7200 crore rupees in Jharkhand on this occasion.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Prime Minister will pay floral tributes to the life-size statue of Bhagwan Birsa Munda tomorrow on his 148th birth anniversary at Bhagwan Birsa Munda Memorial Park cum Freedom Fighter Museum in Ranchi. Thereafter, PM Narendra Modi would be the first PM to visit Ulihatu village, the birthplace of Bhagwan Birsa Munda in Khunti. Prime Minister will flag off IEC (Information, Education and Communication) vans in Khunti, under 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra'. The aim of the Yatra is to reach out to people create awareness and provide benefits of welfare schemes like sanitation facilities, essential financial services, electricity connections, access to LPG cylinders, housing for the poor, food security, proper nutrition, reliable healthcare, clean drinking water and others. Initially, the yatra will start from districts with significant tribal populations, and by 25th January next year it will cover all districts across the country, ensuring the benefits of these schemes reach all targeted beneficiaries in a time-bound manner.</span><br />
