Vishnu Prasad Bhaiya of JMM has won the Jamtara assembly seat by a margin of 12,845 votes, defeting his nearest rival Furkan Ansari of Congress. <br/><br/>Another JMM Candidate Paulus Soren has been declared elected from Torpa assembly seat by a margin of 15,899 votes over his nearest BJP rival Koche Munda. Jharkhand is heading for hung assembly again. <br/><br/>The results and trends so far indicate that no single party or alliance may be in a position to muster majority in the 81 member assembly. With a fractured mandate, the JMM again may emerge as a key player in government formation.
