Jharkhand HC stays transfer of IT official probing Madhu Koda case

Jharkhand High Court orders that transferred senior IT official Ujjwal Choudhary, who was probing the Madhu Koda case, will continue in his previous post. The man behind the exposure of former Chief Minister Koda, IT Director (Investigation) Ujjawal Chodhary has been transferred from his current posting to CIT (central), Patna. The transfer at this juncture has led to many an eyebrow being raised. <br/><br/>Choudhary led the first raid on Koda and Associates spanning across the country at 83 different places. The revealations in the raid led to arrest of Koda, still languishing in Jail under judicial custody. The second raid under Choudhary has led to further disclosures in the Koda scam. <br/><br/>CM Shibu Soren’s PS Manohar Pal’s involvement surfaced and Pal has even admitted to amassing undisclosed assets of 65 croe rupees. The second raid, conducted simultaneously at over 73 places through out the country has revealed the involvement of many high profile personalities. Hence, it is being speculated that the transfer was initiated to cover up the findings.<br/>
