The Ranchi High court today rejected the bail petition of Former Ministers Harinarayan Rai and Ennos Ekka. AIR Ranchi correspondent reports that both of them are in judicial custody in a disproportionate Asset case. While Ekka has filed his nomination paper from Simdega and Kolibera assembly constituencies, Harinaranarayan Rai filed his paper for Jarmundi seat.<br/>Meanwhile, campaigning has intensified in areas where Assembly Elections will be held in the first phase on the 25th of this month. Addressing an election rally at Chaibasa, former Chief Minister, Madhu Koda reiterated his stand to quit politics if a single charge is proved against him. Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh claimed that his party will give stable government in Jharkhand . He said candidature of Chief Minister would be decided after poll result. JMM Chief, Shibu Soren has assured the voters to create employment opportunities for youth and redressal of grievances of the farmers if his party is voted to power. RJD Chief, Laloo Prasad Yadav and LJP Chief, Ram Vilas Paswan jointly addressed a number of meetings in Chotanagpur Division in which they gave an assurence good governance and better law and order situation in the State.<br/>In another development, Jharkhand Vikas Morcha(JVM) leader Deepak Prakash today joined Bharatiya Janata Party in protest against alliance of JVM with Congress . Mr. Prakash was a close aide of JVM chief Babulal Marandi. On the other hand Jharkhand Mukti Morcha Chief Sibu Soren has expelled eight of his party leaders because of anti party activities.<br/>
