The Jharkhand Government will raise 18 more police Special Task Force and one Indian Reserve Battalion to fight the Maoists. Apart from this, a state police academy and integrated police collonies would be set up in Naxal hit districts. This plan was approved by the State Assembly yesterday. Replying to a debate on the issue the concerned Minister Baijnath Ram said that 11,000 more police personnel of different rank will also be recruited.
