The Jharkhand government has directed the officials that all the District Jails of the State be linked to the Courts for video conferencing. This direction was issued by the Chief Secretary of Jharkhand Dr. A K Singh after reviewing a progress meeting of the department of Information Technology. At present, some Courts and Jails of the State are connected through video conferencing on trial basis, and government is trying to connect the remaining Districts Jails with courts.
