The Jharkhand government has declared Mucormycosis or Black Fungus as an epidemic in the State amidst the growing number of cases. Around 140 suspected cases of Black Fungus have been recorded in total. 25 deaths due to mucormycosis have been recorded till now.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, Jharkhand government has extended the lockdown in the state till June 24. Several other restrictions have been put in place including seven-day mandatory quarantine for people visiting the state. The state has also suspended the operation of the intra and inter-city bus services and restricted the maximum number of attendees in a wedding event to 11.</span><br />
