<span style="color: #222222;">In Jharkhand, the state government has decided to postpone the world famous Shravani Mela held in Deoghar this year in view of spread of novel Corona virus infection. Chief Minister Hemant Soren has said that organising such a huge fair is a big challenge before the government amid COVID-19 pandemic. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">However, Godda MP Nishikant Dubey has challenged this case in Jharkhand High Court and the court has reserved its verdict for tomorrow. At the same time, Chief Minister today gave necessary guidelines through video conferencing to the Deputy Commissioners of Deoghar and Dumka districts. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports that, the state government is not in favor of organizing such a big fair from public health point of view to prevent corona infection, as millions of devotees from all over India and abroad visit Deoghar during Shravani Mela. MP Nishikant Dubey has filed a PIL in Jharkhand High Court recently, advocating for opening of temple premises describing it as a matter of public faith. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The High Court has reserved its verdict on this petition for tomorrow. Meanwhile, in the video conferencing held today with DCs of Deoghar and Dumka districts, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has instructed that no buses from any state should reach to the borders of Deoghar and Dumka districts and messages of postponement of Shravani Mela should be widely displayed through notices  on the state borders.</span><br />''
